The all time favorite game that every adult knows to play and that every baby loves. Haris loves this game, she even likes to hold the cover up over her face and hide. It’s quite cute and lots of fun…but actually I learned something.
When you play peek-a-boo, the baby gets a kick out of the item/you reappearing. While the item/you are gone, they are waiting, expectantly.
Where am I going?
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1
It’s hard to wait for something you don’t see, even harder when you start to doubt and stop believing. There’s an attitude, there’s a funk, it’s discouraging, and it’s not much fun. The journey can and should be enjoyed, I think we would all agree. Because you never know when that jack in the box might pop out and surprise you, but you have to keep turning the crank.
The game is simple, you just have to know how to play . . . you have to trust that it and He is there.
“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13Tags: believe, encourage, endurance, faith, games, hope, life, peek a boo, play, trust, wait
